BOOKING

When booking online, you benefit from discounted rates on all the packages available on site:
€15 off the week-long course, €10 off the 3-day mini-course and €3 off the introductory session.
This rate also applies if our surf school has been recommended to you by one of our partner
accommodation providers, who stamps your booking form.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT METHODS

CASH PAYMENT

Payment in cash is possible on site at the surf school.

PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER

The full amount may be paid by bank transfer. Please
contact us
to obtain the necessary payment details.

LAST-MINUTE BOOKING

It is still possible to benefit from the online rate by paying in cash on site or by bank transfer,
provided that you complete an online booking form and contact or visit the school no later than
2 days before the beginning of the course, i.e. before 2 p.m. on Saturday for a course beginning
on Monday.

This option is subject to availability in our surf lesson time slots. We therefore encourage you
to book as early as possible to ensure that a place is available.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

HEALTH PROBLEM OR SERIOUS REASON

In the event of a health problem or other serious reason, any cancellation request must state
the reason, be submitted in writing and sent by post to the following address:

To qualify for a refund of the booking deposit, the request must be received more than 22 days
before the beginning of the course. When the cancellation is due to a health problem, the request
must be accompanied by a medical certificate.

Provided that these conditions are met, the booking deposit will be refunded.

CANCELLATION 22 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE THE COURSE

For any cancellation made 22 days or less before the beginning of the course, the booking deposit
will be retained by École de Surf La Dune.

No refund will be issued outside the conditions stated above.

LESSON CANCELLED DUE TO A RED FLAG

If a lesson is cancelled due to a red flag, a thunderstorm or unsafe ocean conditions, the lesson
will be rescheduled for a day when conditions are suitable for surfing. In some cases, two lessons
may be held on the same day or consecutively when surfing conditions are optimal.

In some circumstances, the surf lesson may be replaced by an introduction to coastal rescue,
bodyboarding, stand-up paddleboarding or skateboarding on a mini-ramp.

If we are unable to offer any of these rescheduling or replacement options, the relevant amount
will be refunded by bank transfer. The refund will be calculated as follows: €20 per session for
a week-long course, €25 per session for a 3-day mini-course, or the price paid for the session
in the case of a single lesson, depending on whether the online or on-site rate was applied.

SCHEDULE

Lesson times are arranged when registering on site. The meeting point is on the dune at Messanges
North Beach, at the wooden reception hut on your right.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of the lesson so that you have time to collect your
equipment and report to the reception staff.

EQUIPMENT

All the equipment required for the course is made available to participants, who are responsible
for it. Any lost or stolen equipment will be charged for.

In the event of damage to the equipment, the customer agrees to compensate École de Surf La Dune
according to the damage caused:

• broken fin: €10;
• slightly damaged board with a small cut: €20;
• severely damaged board with a large cut: €40;
• bent or broken board: €120;
• bent or broken premium board — Torq, Ocean & Earth, etc.: €200.

SAFETY

Safety instructions are given at the beginning of the lesson. Any participant who fails to follow
these instructions may be temporarily or permanently excluded from the lesson.

MINORS

For participants under the age of 18, the registration form must be completed by their legal
guardian and will serve as parental authorisation.

Your child is under the responsibility of École de Surf La Dune for the entire duration of the
lesson, i.e. 1 hour and 30 minutes.

CUSTOMER DECLARATION

It is important to provide accurate and honest information in the fields relating to your surfing
ability.

Surfing is a physically demanding sport that requires a good general level of fitness. The information
provided enables us to place you in a suitable group from the first day of the course.

Where necessary, a transfer to another group may be offered after the first lesson.

HEALTH

By registering for surf lessons, you declare that you have no medical condition preventing you
from practising surfing.
